Pennsylvania’s Education for All Coalition (PEAC) is a grassroots organization of parents, family members, educators, professionals, and individuals with disabilities that supports inclusive education. We believe that children of all backgrounds and abilities should be successfully educated together within the general education curriculum.

PEAC Anual Meeting 2009
Thank you for making PEAC's 4th Annual Meeting a Success!

PEAC held their Fourth Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, February 7 at the PaTTAN Offices in King of Prussia. The meeting was broadcast live to the PaTTAN Offices in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh as well as the Intermediate Unit in Westmoreland.

Overall, 75 parents, teachers, administrators, and professionals across the great state of Pennsylvania gathered to support inclusion and work towards a system that supports and educates ALL children. Dr. Cathy Taschner's presentation on "Creating a Best Practice School" gave us all a vision for a healthy, supported, and inclusive educational environment.

PEAC would like to extend a special thank you to all of those who attended the meeting, as well as Jeannine Brinkley, Dr. Michael Pladus, Jean Prindle, Karen Salomon, Dr. Cathy Taschner, and especially the staff at PaTTAN, IU5, and the Bureau of Special Education!

Special Education Law Training a Success
We are pleased to announce that our November 22 workshop, "Being an Effective Advocate for your Child," was a great success. The workshop, hosted by Holy Family University and presnted by special education lawyer Jerry L. Tanenbaum of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP, provided crucial information on the Chapter 14 Updates to 40+ parents and special education professionals. The Ed for All Coalition would like to thank Holy Family, Jerry Tanenbaum, and all of you who attended for making the day a success.
